Rehearsal Dinner
Sand Bar and Grill - Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard
On Friday night before the wedding our bridal party headed to the church for the wedding rehearsal. After, the whole bridal party, family members and whoever else was on island already for the wedding headed to the Sand Bar and Grill in Oak Bluffs. It is a little grill with views of Oak Bluffs harbor and the main drag of town, Circuit Avenue. We had a buffet style dinner and lots of drinks. Mike's dad, of course, did a toast to us and welcomed all to the island. It was a night full of festivities and as you will see later we moved the rehearsal dinner to an after party location late night....
Rehearsal Dinner After Party - The Lamp Post Bar
People were definitely not ready for bed by time the rehearsal dinner ended around nine so we walked up Circuit Avenue to the only open bar on the strip, The Lamp Post. This is normally a locals bar but since we showed up with about 60 people in the off season they were more than happy to open a private room upstairs for us, staff the bar and give us a DJ. It was a crazy end to the night. Good thing the wedding wasn't until 2pm the next day!
